The Palliative Care Research Team at Cardiff University and our families are doing all we can to raise money for Marie Curie. 

Through our research on patient and carer experience we know how important the right care at the right time is for people with terminal illnesses and their families. But at a time when these people desperately need support, Marie Curie are facing devastating loss of funds due to disruption of normal fundraising activities.

Right now, every day and night, Marie Curie Nurses and front line staff are giving vital support to dying people and their families in their homes and Marie Curie Hospices across the UK. At this time of national emergency, Marie Curie are working closely with he NHS on plans to support hospitals and NHS staff. 

It's crucial that Marie Curie staff can continue to be there to give dying people and their families the care and support they need. 

£20 pays for an hour of vital nursing care, £90 pays for half and evening's care and £180 pays for 9 hours of night time nursing support. Our target is £5,580.00 as this would fund a whole month of night time nursing support. So please help by sponsoring our fundraising activities through this JustGiving page.
