During May, a small group of Hamble’s crew have a tradition of taking part in a mammoth walk to  raise funds. This year we’re unable to, so Eleanor and I have decided to walk 100 miles in May to try and raise some funds. 

Hamble Lifeboat is an independent lifeboat, which relies on the generosity of local people to stay afloat. Last year, we were called out 105 times to people or vessels requiring assistance. Lives were saved. Lives were attempted to be saved. Our service is vital, particularly in the Solent. Please help us to keep our fundraising alive and keep our  boats available for tasking while we are #ridingthestorm of covid-19. We are still at work, and are still being called upon, however our fundraising stream has dried up.
