On Sunday September 8th, we'll be running the Great North Run, in aid of the Newcastle United Foundation and have decided to set up a joint fund raising page for the both of us. 

Not only will this be our first ever half marathon, it will also be our first competitive run. Considering both of us could barely run 2 miles up until recently, this will be quite the challenge but your donations can help spur us across that finish line!

As most of you will know, we love our football so what better cause to fund raise for than a football charity? The Newcastle United Foundation uses passion for football to make a real difference to the lives of children, young people and families. 

The foundation have achieved their 10th year as a registered charity and last year they reached out to over 54,000 disadvantaged people. They deliver a range of football, health, education and youth programmes in schools and community venues.
