Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having served on the board of trustees of Herts Mind Network (HMN) since 2004, I have been privileged to witness the outstanding work of the staff and volunteers working with people across Hertfordshire in need of support whilst experiencing mental ill health.

HMN makes a difference to so many people's lives each year on their road to recovery and it is fantastic to see the success of its projects such as Green Canteen and Grounds Maintenance service, giving many the opportunity to get back into work.

Although I've always enjoyed swimming, it's only recently that I've decided to step out of the pool and into the open water...as I write this I haven't actually experienced the icy chill of a lake yet! I've been told as soon as I do I'll be hooked...we'll see!!

All money raised will go directly to support people in their recovery, will help enhance the services HMN can offer and most of all will make a big difference to many people's lives. Thank you in advance for your support.
