Story

Hi everyone!!

I am asking for your help please!

On Sunday 10th June I will be hoping to complete the Ironman 70.3 race in Staffordshire. This race consists of a 1.2 mile swim, followed by a 56 mile bike and a 13.1 mile run to finish! (70.3 miles in total!). With the kind permission of Abbi Peat, I am raising money in memory of her 7 year old daughter Maisie who tragically died in March this year. The money being raised is for the benefit of Penhaligon's friends in Cornwall who provide vital support for bereaved children, parents and families in the local area! This charity has also been of great help to numerous friends of mine in their time of need!

Having been training for the past couple of months, completing multiple 1 mile+ swims, 40+ mile bikes and 10+ mile runs just for training purposes in preparation, I can tell you this is by far and away the hardest thing I have ever done and I have never done anything like this before (not even a triathlon!). With this in mind, I would be hugely grateful (along with many others!) of any charitable support you may be able to offer in the form of fundraising for this great cause!!

Thank you very much!

Mark
