Although I run quite a few races each year, I often don't do so for charity. As I've managed to put in the training and stay injury and lurgy-free (so far!), I thought it would be a good opportunity to run the City of Norwich Half Marathon in aid of the Optimise chosen charity, Unicef this year. 

This charity does a huge amount to support children in danger by providing education, life-saving food, clean water, vaccines, relief in emergencies and protection from violence - in over 190 different countries across the planet.
