Receiving the news that dad has MND has been devastating, but we're all doing our best to crack on, keep his spirits up and take each day as it comes. He's my best friend and someone to be extremely proud of.

I want to start raising lots of money and as much awareness as I can to help support the Motor Neurone Disease Association. They do their best to guide those suffering and their families through this awful transition but we NEED to raise more awareness of this disease and with the help of your donation hopefully find a treatment or cure! 

So being the enthusiastic runner that I am I have decided to try and raise a massive 5K with the help of you lovely people and run the Queenstown Half Marathon here in New Zealand. 

Myself and my family would really appreciate anything you can offer up as encouragement and support. 

My dad is really loving the kind messages you've all been leaving and the extremely generous donations. It's really meant a lot to see so many people care.
