Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the Big Half - London for EvelinaChildren's Hospital because the hospital has treated Cameron from birth which you will read below, we thought that this was my chance to give a little back.
Every year the Transplant children attend the British Transplant Games and the money raised will go to The Paediatric Transplant Clinic and help towards these special children and families enjoy this brilliant event all together.
Cameron was born with Chronic Renal Failure in 2001,
his kidneys and bladder were extremely damaged and has had a number of
operations since, this together with a lot of medication daily has managed to
keep his kidneys going until February 2015 when his mum Tanya, selflessly
donated one of her kidneys.
The operation took place at Evelina Children's
Hospital, Cameron and Tanya are both doing really well now.
Evelina is such an amazing hospital and have done
so much to help Cameron and treat him. The doctors, nurses, surgeons and
absolutely everyone at the hospital are the best, they truly work miracles. The
staff not only look after the children, they also always look after and care
for the needs of the families. They are always there for help and support, nothing
has ever been too much for them.
We would never be able to repay Evelina Hospital
what they have given to us, but by asking our friends, family and their friends
and family we can give a little back. Please help me to do so.
