Martin's 2 trail marathons - Coed y Brenin & Purbeck · 24 May 2018

We operate seven social enterprises to provide work opportunities and individualised support for people who face real and significant challenges in getting a job. These could include trauma, insufficient work experience, health & wellbeing needs, education barriers and communication challenges.

Story

I am running 2 trail marathons this year. The Solomon Trail marathon takes place in June at Coed y Brenin, 26 miles of forest trails in the Snowdonia National Park. In September it's the Purbeck marathon in Swanage, Purbeck and the Jurassic Coast  - nearly 27 miles off road and 3000 feet of climbs!

I'm running to raise money for The Jericho Foundation to support their Equiano project working with Survivors of Modern Slavery. Jericho offers supported employment to Survivors helping them rebuild their lives following exploitation, regain independence and have hope for the future. Find out more at:
