Story
I had never undertaken anything like this until I was persuaded to participate in 2018. It was such a fantastic like experience in so many ways in terms of the physical challenge, the camaraderie, all with the primary focus on raising funds for such fantastic causes.
I had taken an interest in CORAM and visited the museum prior to the ride and hearing of the terrific work they have done for many years and continue to do was truly humbling. When you have children yourself, you realise how fortunate we are compared to the start in life that some children have to endure. Having had a year off in 2019, I'm really excited to be on the road again. Training has started and there will be much more in the cold wet Dec, Jan & Feb. Hopefully it'll all be worthwhile. It's wonderful to see other charities benefiting too
Coram champions the rights and welfare of children and believes every child should have the best chance of a fulfilling life. Coram helps hundreds of thousands of vulnerable children and young people every single year by developing skills, building emotional strength, upholding children's rights and finding adoptive parents for those in the greatest need.Club Peloton's other charity beneficiaries, Cyclists Fighting Cancer, MSA Trust and Tom's Trust, will receive a proportion of fundraising.
A huge thank you to all that are able to sponsor me. It'll help me through the whole experience and more importantly, you will make a difference to young lives. Any amount will be hugely appreciated and I do know that we all get bombarded with similar requests on an almost daily basis.
I intend to keep folk posted so keep a look out.
Thanks Again & Bring It On!
