I have two challenges to undertake with joy and passion in April 2010 .At the beginning of the month , a North to South tour of Vietnam - 700 miles in ten days , and at the end of the month the Three Peaks Fell Race in the Yorkshire Dales .

I would like to donate my efforts in both events to the memory of my very inspirational and supportive friend Jenny Vesey.

Jenny lost her battle with Leukaemia after a short illness in September of last year and left those of us who knew her stunned at how such a fit, fun and fantastic person could be taken from us so suddenly .

I was inspired by Jenny during her life and am even more inspired by her loss to appreciate the opportunities that life brings.

These challenges will not be a chore , they will be a celebration . Please join me in this celebration of life on behalf of all those who are not here to join with us , most especially Dr Jenny , and give generously to Leukaemia Research at the Bradford Royal Infirmary
