  • Team members: Tony and Jonathan are walking with me. Others are welcome to join us at any stage. We leave the tiny church of St Mary, Fleet Marston at 8am. A group is planning to join for the leg from Upper Winchendon. The route and time table are on my latest post.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

For seven years I have been working, as the local vicar, with a lovely group of dedicated people who want to share their beautiful, big, light building with their local community and offer a place where mums and toddlers, the housebound, and disadvantaged could socialize.  We have space, but it is damp and cold. Our plan is to make the building inviting, and to add a bakery and café where all can enjoy the simple good things of life, including each other. Bucks Historic Churches Trust have shared the vision and given us grants to get going. We’re on the way to getting rid of the damp and replacing the rotting floor.  £2000 would enable us to equip for play sessions and, through BHCT, another church could start their renewal process.
