Story

I'm excited for this opportunity to raise funds for PoC, a charity supporting human rights defenders around the world who have been persecuted for standing up for their rights.

I have set myself a challenge to learn how to solve the Rubik's cube in less than 2.6 days and also in under 2.6 minutes!

Every little counts!

Thanks,

Mary

Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.

About the campaign

The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

About the charity

Established in 1962 as the relief arm of Amnesty International, we are a separate charity and the only UK agency providing practical and financial support specifically to prisoners of conscience, individuals who have been persecuted for protecting and advancing human rights.
