We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer
Story
I'm now 47. To me that's old and I finally decided to do something about my depressing age and lack of fitness. But why get fit and not let somebody else benefit. So I've decided to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Everybody knows somebody who has been affected by cancer and every penny raised can help research the destruction of this disease. So I will be running a half marathon every month from February 2017 through to March 2018, culminating with the London Marathon in April 2018. Please donate if you can as every penny counts. Thanks.
We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.
