My mum and dad were taken away from my sister and I and the rest of our family far too young. My mum had battled and beaten cancer once when I was barely old enough to know how serious it was but then was a victim of cancer yet again, this time she was unable to beat it. In her last days she was cared for by the amazing staff and services at St. Michael's Hospice and since then I have done anything I can to raise money for them to contribute towards the lovely charity; so that they can continue to offer wonderful support to so many people that may need to rely on them in the future.

Last year, my friend and workmate, Anita Butchers shared the same unfortunate circumstances and was also taken great care of by the Hospice.

So I'm running 21km this time instead of the 5km that I normally ask for sponsorship for, so I'm expecting 4 times as many donations this time, thank you! :P
