Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
If the thought of me cycling to Brighton doesn't motivate you to explore the depths of those deep pockets, I am also doing a series of triathlons, starting with the Blenheim triathlon on 9th June, the Windsor triathlon on 17th June, and the sweetly named, but gruellingly themed Winchester peddle, paddle, and pace on 8th July.
What with one thing and another (and another and another and another), this year hasn't been very condusive for training so please dig as deep as you can, as I will probably need some work done on my own heart by the end of it.
If you are in Japan, Korea, America, Australia... (or anywhere else other than Greece) your luck is in, the pound is cheap, and a very small donation will go a very long way. The British heart foundation do amazing work and have some lofty goals. Within a decade they aim to:
· halve the number of people under 75 who die from cardiovascular disease
· make sure at least two thirds of people under 75 survive a heart attack
· reverse the increase in childhood obesity
So whether you are concerned about your own ticker, or just don't like the sight of fat kids, there is a reason for everyone to give.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
