We provide a lifetime of care and support to the UK Armed Forces and their families

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having served in the Armed Forces- I know all too well that when the call comes-... you GO! and without reservation or equivocation. Luckily for me I  was not involved or affected by Conflict in my time in the Royal Navy- but many are. Here's just one who- with your help will receive the essential support they need.

Fundraising has a life-changing impact on the people we support, like Lyndon.Twenty-six year old Lyndon served as a Combat Engineer in Afghanistan, where he sustained serious spinal injuries and had to be discharged from the Army.

In 2012 he enrolled on a rehabilitation course at The Royal British Legion-funded Battle Back Centre in Lilleshall, which helps injured servicemen and women to recover through a programme of adventure training and specialist sport.

During his time at Battle Back, Lyndon fell in love with adventure training, and after successfully graduating from the course, he found a job as an Outdoor Instructor.

He's now a popular coach working at Battle Back, where he helps other veterans. Without the help of amazing people like you, Lyndon’s recovery would never have been possible.

Any donation you make  will go directly to people like Lyndon and others who the British Legion support. as the big supermarket says- #everylittlehelps"
