Story

Its a challenge of Skill vs Endurance.

My name is Matthew Carr, chess player and ECF Arbiter.

My opponent is Fraser Greenroyd, fellow student and best friend.

I am a strong chess player who enjoys a good game of chess. Fraser has been playing against me for years but hasnt reached my level. I have the skill to win a game of chess but not the endurance to keep the skill up for long. Fraser can work on very little sleep so has the endurance to last for the 24 hours.

We will play as many games as possible in the 24 hours, whoever has the most points at the end of the 24 hours wins.

We are using a DGT Liveboard, which will transfer the moves and scores to a website. Who will be the victor, how much money will we raise? Watch and find out.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
