In October 2013 Matthew was diagnosed with an intracranial germ cell tumour. He was referred to the Royal Marsden Cancer Hospital where they treated the cancer at the end of 2013 and early 2014. The treatment was successful and apart from regular scans, Matthew is now enjoying being back at school with Oliver, Dillan, Charlie and Dylan.
Unfortunately not all children are as lucky as Matthew, and some spend much longer in hospital. The Royal Marsden does a great job at making this experience as positive as it can be for the children they look after. We want to help them continue this work, and continue their research into childhood cancer treatment.
To do this, on the 5th of July, we are taking on the tube alphabet challenge. The aim of this challenge is to visit a tube station for every letter of the alphabet in alphabetical order.
Please sponsor us for this challenge, in aid of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
