Story
Hi all,
On the 3 October 2011 I’m going to be embarking on my toughest challenge to date. I’m going to be running 5 marathons in 5 days (26miles per day) starting in Fareham and ending in Herne Bay in Kent.
This is all in aid of raising £5000 for a number of local charities across each of the regions I run in. In my area we specifically focus on two local charities which our the Cystic Fibrosis Trust (Fareham Branch) and the Rainbow Centre
Each day of the marathon I will be joined by a number of work colleagues from across the regions. Each of them will join me for a few miles and will provide me with much needed support along the way.
As some of you might know I am just your average everyday runner, so this is going to be a very tough task. I know there will be plenty of blood sweat and tears along the journey, but it will be all worth it if I can raise as much money as possible for all the local charities to help make a difference.
Please pledge what ever you can no matter how little, it will all be welcomed by the charities and put to good use.
Thank you for your support
Matt
