Story
One day. 100 miles. 3600m of elevation.
We’re taking on the challenge of cycling the South Downs Way in a day to push ourselves and raise money for the vital work of Hospice UK.
Over the past few years, we’ve lost a Grandad and a family friend to terminal illness, and the compassionate support and care of Hospice UK nurses made the burden and fear easier to bear. The way they calmly guided terminally ill loved ones through the last stages of life helped them come to terms with it, handle it and have the kind of dignified end they wished for. For the families and friends around them, they helped make the toughest of times more manageable. Their work has a massive impact on those difficult last stages of life for those suffering with terminal illness and all of those around them, which is why its so important to support the difference Hospice UK can make.
News just in! Our pal Jamie will do the same distance and elevation ride in Scotland! Virtually joining us on our behemoth ride, glad to have you along mate!
