The Gatehouse is a drop-in café at the St Giles Parish Rooms in Oxford which exists to provide a calm, safe refuge for people who are homeless or vulnerably housed. I first discovered the Gatehouse through a friend who volunteered there (and because the Parish Rooms are also used for auditions for my am-dram group). It is a sad reality of our times that the work of the Gatehouse and organisations like them is increasingly needed and the nature of their work is that any donations will have an immediate, real impact in providing support and necessities to those who need them. Please do give freely, and with my thanks.
