Hi All, my name is Caroline and just after my sister Kate’s 40th birthday in 2017 we found out she had cervical cancer. After 6 months of treatment she was given the all clear but unfortunately within a few months it had returned. After receiving some pallative chemo she was told it was no longer working and she is now looking to get immunotherapy from a London hospital. The Lewis Foundation have been there for my sister during her chemotherapy treatment at her local hospital and she has seen and benefited from the amazing work that they do. They give gift packs to patients to help during treatment and recovery and put a smile on their faces. They also spend time talking to patients on the cancer wards, which is especially comforting for those who don't have many visitors. My lovely Zumba teacher Lina and my wonderful Zumba friends have decided to do a Zumbathon (2 hours of Zumba) on the 3rd March 2019 to raise some money for this wonderful charity.
