WE MADE IT!!!

I am super proud of the media:cpm team for #FacingTheirFears and for raising over £3000.00 for Alzheimer's Society..  What an amazing experience to leap from a plane at 13,000 feet. 

It was an absolutely stunning day with clear blue skies and almost no breeze, perfect conditions for a Skydive over the Norfolk Coastline.

A briefing by our Instructors/Camera Crew, suits, helmets and harnesses secured then it is up, up and awaaaay! 

Once at altitude, the door opens and for the first time a real sense of what we are about to undertake.....but there is no time to think as one by one we are quickly shuffled to the back of the aircraft with our instructor.  Hanging out of the door and looking down at the earth below, a view and sense of fear none of us will ever forget!

...3,2,1, GO!

A quick somersault and we are free-falling at 120mph with the most breath-taking (quite literally) view and sense of speed! We all seemed to free-fall forever and then the jerk as the chute opens #SenseOfRelief! followed by a very peaceful and calm 4 1/2 minutes floating down to terra-firma and a spectacular landing! 

We're alive!!!  And ready to do it all over again..well maybe one day!

Our huge thanks to UK Parachuting, our instructors, camera crew and all at Alzheimer's for coordinating everything, but most of all to everyone who took the time to sponsor us, which was ultimately what this was all about, with a little added adrenaline to boot!
