We are a veterinary chairty which aims to help people who find distressed wildlife

Story

I am doing a charity skydive jump on the 15th July 2017 to raise money and awareness for two charities close to my heart.

My first charity is Wildlife Rescue Ambulance Service (WRAS), this is in memory of my dad who was taken from us suddenly and unexpectedly on a family holiday, on the 9th July it will be the five year anniversary of him passing. My dad and I spent many evenings watching the wildlife animals visiting our garden, he taught me what the animals eat, how they like their habitats and the importance of them. These types of evenings were important and one of the things I miss most about having my dad around. Therefore, as a family we decided to dedicate this charity in memory of him. Wildlife Rescue Ambulance Service (WRAS) is a volunteer based charity who helps and protects our wildlife across East Sussex.

My second charity is Alzheimer’s Research UK, my auntie Elaine was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at the young age of 55 years. I have seen first-hand the struggles that this illness brings, the roller coaster journey it can hold and the hard work it takes to look after the loved one. I would like to raise money for the research of Alzheimer’s because there are many different types of Alzheimer’s, we need more research into these diagnoses to help more people and their families to understand the illness and to eventually find a cure.

All the proceeds from my fundraising will go directly to the two charities as I am self-funding the skydive. Due to the nature of this page, you can choose which charity you would like to support, or you could donate and support both charities.

A skydive has always been on my bucket list and the thing I have learnt from my dad and auntie is; you must live life to the fullest because you don’t know what is waiting for you around the corner. This is also something my dad believed in, I hope to continue to make him proud!

Any amount of donation would be greatly appreciated and please share this page with your social media, friends and family.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
