I've joined a few other mothers who faced the same situation when their babies were born too early, one as early as 23 weeks'. The fact that she survived and was looked after and nurtured by the team at Watford General's Special Care Baby Unit, gave us hope that Leanne would pull through.

The work that they do is not fully funded or recognised, so we're doing our bit to help give something back so that they can continue their great work. Please help us to raise as much as we can for this worthy cause.

We are also organising a findraising event at Westfield Children's Centre in Watford on 28th July from 2pm. Please come and support us by spending your money! If you have anything you'd like to donate for the event e.g. toys, books, prizes for raffles etc, please let me know via email.
