Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page for our Trust Buddies project in Wales. 

We are looking to raise funds, in partnership with National Trust Cymru, which focuses on reducing stigma and discrimination for people with learning disabilities within the community. 

The project will have 10-12 people with learning disabilities volunteering across three National Project sites, Chirk, Powys and Ogwen Valley. 

The aim of the project is to promote learning disability and encourage community understanding of learning disability and stigma. It will also focus on the people with learning disabilities and give them the skills and confidence to progress. It will also focus on helping to change the culture of organisations by having people with learning disabilities working and volunteering and being part of the organisation. 

To make life more rewarding and fulfilled for even more adults with a learning disability, Mencap Cymru are asking for your help. Together we can make a difference, reduce isolation and change lives.
