It may sound counter-intuitive, but

 eating a larger breakfast can help you lose weight. Start your day off right with an egg-white omelet or whole-wheat toast with peanut butter. When you eat more calories before noon, you reduce hunger levels later in the day. The bigger breakfast you eat, the less you will over-eat later on.



Take up a relaxing form of exercise like yoga. Stress can make you gain weight. Exercise is a necessary part of losing weight and keeping it off, but it can also be a major stress factor in your life. Try practicing something like yoga instead. You will find that it is much more calming while still providing regular exercise.



Clean your teeth late at night! It may sound strange, but if you clean your teeth just before you go to bed, that sneaky midnight snack that will pile on the weight may not be as tempting. By cleaning your teeth, subconsciously you are telling your body that you have finished eating for the day.

About the charity

Tina’s Wish is an ovarian cancer non-profit dedicated to funding scientific research for the early detection of ovarian cancer. We were founded in 2008 in memory of the Honorable Tina Brozman, who died 2 years after she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Currently, we have raised over $15 million.
