I have been a trustee with Home-Start Blackburn and Darwen for 14 years. I am fully aware of the work that Home-Start Blackburn with Darwen carries out and the benefits of that work to the families with which we engage. The credit for this has to go to our highly trained volunteers who make themselves available to the families who work with us and the team in our head office.

If everything goes to plan, this will be my third marathon in 12 months which will have been made possible by the support of my friends in Blackburn Road Runners.
