Story

My daughter Willow sadly passed away on the 06 September 2018 aged 3 months.  During this exceptionally hard time, my wife and I were supported by the Scottish Cot Death Trust.

My aim is to raise awareness of the Scottish Cot Death Trust and fundraise for them, so if that the worst happens to other families they will receive the same exceptional support we did.

I along with a small team from the Embassy, Khartoum aim to vitually travel from Khartoum to my home address in Largs, Scotland starting on 03 February 2019.  The total mileage will be 4428.51 or 7,127 Km's and we will break this down over 7 stages over the next few months.  We will utilise all cardio equipment in the Embassy gym to complete our virtual journey.

About the charity

Every 9 days in Scotland a baby or child will die suddenly and unexpectedly - many of their families will never know why they died. As the only charity in Scotland dedicated to the issue of Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI), we provide support, education resources and fund research.
