I have lost several people to cancer. Losing my Father in Law to cancer two years ago made me realise that I need to do more with my life. Get fit, climb that mountain, paddle that river, whatever, just stop putting things off. This way I get to challenge myself and help tackle the impact that cancer has on all of our lives. Paddling the Bann is going to be a big challenge for me but some of my group are taking on an even bigger challenge in the Celtic Peaks Challenge in September. I'd like to support them in their fundraising also.
