Story

PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE TO BOULEY BAY

Wendy Trehiou is no stranger to endurance events having swum the English Channel 6 times as well as swimming around Jersey and completing other long distance swims. She was therefore mentally able and ready for the challenge when she received a cancer diagnosis in 2011. Wendy faced the diagnosis with the same steely determination used during her swimming and is now ready to celebrate and give thanks for her 10 year all clear result.

Wendy would like everyone to come out and turn the sea pink on Sunday 23 May 2021 at 9am at Bouley Bay.

Ladies get your tits out for Wendy by wearing a pink decorated bra over your bathing costumes.  Men can also wear a pink bra if they wish or get creative and decorate your bad buoys to say balls to cancer. Everyone is asked to make a minimum £5 donation to Macmillan Jersey to participate. There will be prizes for the most creative designs.

We will also have cakes available for a small donation post swim and Sarah one of our very talented young ladies has been busy painting pebbles which will also be available on the day for a donation.

Come along and show your support for Wendy, raise money for a great cause and have a laugh and of course some cake too.
