I decided to take part in the marathon as part of my running journey. I started with couch to 5K with Queensbury Running Club in January 2018 when I wasn't very well. I had heard running improves mental health. I've since gone on to win runner of the season and have done many 10k's and a half marathon. I've trained throughout summer and am finally ready to embark on the marathon. It's not likely to be fast or pretty but I am putting on my trainers and giving it a go! If this is a success I might even do another! Sorry to all of you who have had to listen to me none stop about running for months but it will all be worth it!! haha!
