Story

After speaking to Ross and Kat about the amazing service this trust gave them when Rorie was poorly I've decided I'm going to do a sponsored walk to raise some funds for the trust,

MY AIM IS 1 MILLION STEPS IN JULY THATS AVERAGE 33000 STEPS OR ABOUT 15 MILE EVERYDAY IN JULY.

If you read there story below you will understand what an amazing charity this is and why I'm so glad Ross & Kat have agreed to this walk.

Rorie Adams was born at burton hospital on the 29th August 2017, shortly after he was born it became apparent he was very poorly and stayed in the neo natal unit before it was decided he needed specialist treatment and so was transferred to sheffield childrens hospital. Rorie and his parents went to sheffield not knowing how long they would be there for and in the end their stay lasted for 7 weeks. During their stay they were given a room in a house linked to the hospital that was run by a charity called the sick children's trust, the accomadation was all provided by the charity at no cost to Rories family which meant they could concentrate on Rories recovery without any unnessacary financial stress. It also meant they had somewhere to go to if things got difficult any time of the day to gather themselves while only every being 2 minutes from Rories bedside. Rories family can't speak highly enough of the charity and what they provide which is priceless to lots of families who are going through more often than not the hardest time of their lives. The sick childrens trust provide home from home accomadation that is run by fundraising and donations alone. The charity really is an essential part of keeping families as close together as possible when they all need each other the most.
