We nominated the JPK Project as our charity because they are an independent charity making a massive difference to people with learning disabilities in Eastbourne and the surrounding area. JPK provide accommodation and support independence to those with learning disabilities. This is vital to both those people and their families.
The Mighty 3s and 4s are Eastbourne hockey teams playing at the Saffrons. We're a team with a tight bond and a lot of heart - full of characters. (Doesn't every team say that? Trust me though this team really is...). Somehow we manage to collect ourselves together to play hockey once a week in the world famous Sussex Open League (Division 1 - sports completists..). We are fuelled by the desire to win together and create memories but also by the best sausage and chips post game meal on the South Coast. Honestly, we should really be raising money for more powerful showers but there are some altruists in the team and that brings us here, to this page, now. We're firmly behind the JPK Project and would ask that whether you know us or not that you give whatever you can, however small, to this worthwhile charity. They are based in Old Town - almost opposite the Spice Garden - and the work they have put into the charity is frankly amazing. We understand that there are precious few facilities like this not just in the town but in the whole area. It's for this reason that our backing feels absolutely right. If we can show the determination on the hockey field that JPK have shown in founding their charity we'll be onto a winner.... Thanks for your support. The Mighty 3s and 4s
