A CHANCE TO LIVE...

Dear Friends,

We seldom consider this, however our lives are marked by chances, which we are given and which we take... 

We sometimes take for granted our chance to lead healthy lives, to get educated, to travel and explore the world, to have meaningful careers...

On 30th November 2019, I am running the Singapore Marathon to raise awareness and funds in order to give the chance to live to children with Type 1 Diabetes from Southeast Asia...

Without support, these children would miss their chance to be diagnosed and to survive... and with it, the chance to have a family, to get educated or to achieve meaningful things for themselves or those around them.

Action4Diabetics (A4D) provides care and support to disadvantaged young people with Type 1 Diabetes in Southeast Asia.

Through their Clinic Support Programme, Diabetes Family Camps, Aspire Scholarship Programme, Healthcare Capacity Building and Sponsor a Child Programme, A4D has so far saved and transformed the lives of 368 children with Type 1 Diabetes...
