Imagine your child has been in a car crash. You can see what’s happening to them but you can’t make it go away. You’re helpless. 

As a parent, this is one of my worst fears. Hundreds and hundreds of children fall ill every year resulting in their loved ones finding themselves in the same dire situation.

I have chosen to support The Sick Children’s Trust as they give families one less thing to worry about when their child becomes suddenly ill. They provide a place to stay and someone to talk to - all free of charge. They care for the carers.

Their efforts are allowing loved ones to feel less helpless.
