Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, below is an explanation on why this page exists and what I am hoping to achieve.

My name is Mike Porter and 2 years ago a friend of mine made a bet with me that he could grow his hair longer in a shorter period than I could grow mine. Challenge accepted.

After 24 months and winning the bet I have decided that my long hair should go and rather than just cut it all off I plan to cut it short and retain the hair for donation to the Little Princesses charity who make wigs for children who have lost their own hair through illness or because of treatment for medical conditions. As you can see it is rather long.

I think this is a wonderful charity and wish to help with a donation of my hair and additional funds. I am looking to raise £1,500 and once this amount is raised the money will be donated along with the hair which will cut by my hairdresser. £1,500 will find 5 wigs for 5 children. If funds don't reach the targeted amount I will set a date of 30th October 2018 for the haircut.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
