This project is taking place as my Bat Mitzvah project. My goal is to raise at least £750 and all proceeds will go to Bravehearts NI. I hope to help the charity grow as a thank you for all the great things they do for teens and young adults in Northern Ireland suffering from congenital heart disease. The  charity is operated 100% by volunteers and any donations would mean the world to me and to all the Bravehearts NI who support each other.

I found out about this charity through my Mum as her college friend, Clare, started it a few years back. Clare's daughter was born with CHD and they both found that, as children, patients are treated very well but, when reaching the teen and young adult stages, treatment becomes different. There's no entertainment, you may be on a ward with much older adults, and all the experiences that were great, were not so great anymore.

Bravehearts NI supports patients and their families in all different ways, including welfare support, patient liaison and provision of things such as DVD players and games consoles on the wards.
