I am taking part in this years Great Manchester Run to raise money for Booth Centre, an independent charity based in Manchester city centre, who offer activities, advice and support to those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

This is a huge challenge for me, I take no pleasure in running and have never ran more than 5k. On the most part my physical activity involves pouring a glass of wine on a Friday evening...!
