Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

In August 2016, I will be taking part in the London Triatholon which involves 750m Swim in the lovely River Thames followed by a 20k Bike Ride and then onto a 5k Run. This is going to be challenging, and I have a lot of training to do over the next few months!

My aim is raise £500 to support Parkinsons UK and the amazing work they do, I am doing the London Triatholon to raise money for Parkinsons UK and everyone that is affected by the horrid disease.

As many of you know I was extremely close to my Grandparents and sadly 5 years ago my Granny died from Parkinson's after a long and agonising battle with the disease.

My Granny was a mother figure in my life and devoted her later life to my upbringing and I couldn't have asked for a better Grandmother than her.
