Glen was my wonderful, brave husband and Mia's special dad who lost his 20 month battle with cancer on 19.01.11. During those months he lived life to the full and fought the disease head on with an attitude which was amazing. When we found out there was no longer the hope of a cure Glen expressed a wish that his last days would be spent in the hospice. We were lucky enough to move in on the 18.01.11 and there the wonderful staff treated him with the dignity he deserved. They also treated those who loved him with great care. No one really wants to have to use the hospice but when you have the experience of the wonderful service they provide then you understand the need to raise as much money as possible for them.
