Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My father and I are running the Windsor Half Marathon on the 25th May 2014; we are running in aid of a super little boy who died on the 29th December 2013 of a brain tumour aged only 11.

His name was Silas Pullen. He was a happy, charasmatic and sporty boy and a very special friend of my younger brother. He was diagnosed with a brain tumour in August 2012. He underwent radiotherapy, chemotherapy and surgery on a number of occasions but in September 2013 a final MRI scan showed that the tumour had not gone and he lost his battle just after Christmas.

He fought this tumour with tremendous courage and continued to live life to the full. Throughout his battle he continued to play sport; his favourite was cricket and he managed to score his first half century in the summer of 2013. He managed to play cricket up until a month before he died.  He had an amazingly supportive family which included his parents Ben and Sarah and his three brothers, Oscar, Rufus and Inigo.

Please give as generously as you can.
