M&S Glasgow Fort - Ben Vorlich Climb · 10 September 2017

When life gets tough or it feels like there's nowhere to turn, Barnardo's is here. We make sure children and young people feel safer, happier and more hopeful by directly supporting them with specialist services across the UK. We have been changing childhoods and changing lives for over 150 years.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Approx. 40 people from M&S and Barnardos ( as well as staff members from across Glasgow Fort Shopping Centre)  will be climbing Ben Vorlich to raise as much money as possible for our local Barnardos centre in Easterhouse.

Ben Vorlich is 3232 feet (985m) in height and will be a challenge for the guys participating.

We've been working in parnership with Barnardos since April this year and already we've managed to raise well over £3000 and convert 2 family support rooms to allow them to offer more services to the immediate area.

Barnardos in Easterhouse offer services to well over 300 families in need. The services focus on supporting families affected by parental substance misuse which is impacting on the wellbeing of the children. These types of supporting mechanisms helps reduce risks in lives of young people and their families, promote positive mental health, build confidence & self esteem. These are just a few of the benefits that this fantastic charity offers to the immediate area.

So, please if you can donate what you can to help support Barnardos Easterhouse.
