Martyn died unexpectedly on the 9th April 2018 at the age of 62.

He had type 2 diabetes, but died from cardiomegaly (an enlarged heart), a condition he was unaware that he had, which is more common in diabetics.

From the lovely posts his friends have sent, a large heart is what he had in life too.
