Story

Sunday 26th April 2020 was supposed to look very different for me - I should have been taking on my eleventh marathon and lining up for my fourth London Marathon adventure.

The Covid-19 outbreak has changed these plans, but lets be honest, the pandemic has affected much more in the world than just my running!

Like many charities, Lincoln City Foundation, where I work, has had to reduce or stop our programmes when the communities we work with need us the most. Many of our usual income streams have also been affected and our ability to fundraise through events and other activities is limited.

So, instead of running 26.2 miles I have designed my own 'Lincoln 26' running challenge for Sunday 26th April in aid of Lincoln City Foundation.

I will be running 13 miles with 13 of Lincoln's toughest hills included. For those who know Lincoln, this will include running up Long Leys Road, Yarborough Road, Carline Road, Motherby Hill, Michealgate, (half of!) Danesgate and Steep Hill - all twice!

Any donations are greatly appreciated in supporting Lincoln City Foundation to continue to impact and inspire lives.
