Story

Saturday 10th March was a very special night in more ways than one. I, along with all my fellow competitors, had an absolute ball at The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice (A Little Less) Strictly Come Dancing event, which raised a record breaking £100,000. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I can't thank my dancing partner, Kevin Nicoll, enough for all the hard work, patience and fun that he put in to the whole experience for me.

The whole purpose of the event, however, was to raise funds for the hospice and this amazing night certainly did that. Personally I had so much support from family, friends and, in some cases, even people I didn't know, and I can't thank everyone enough.

This was the most fantastic experience and one which I will never forget. I know everyone at the hospice is blown away by the amount of money that has been raised and I also know that every penny will be spent giving the best possible care to the patients and their families. Thank you so much everyone for all your support and encouragement, - at the risk of using the "j" word it has been a wonderful journey.
