Friends of Colombia for Social Aid, FOCSA, is a registered British Charity, started 45 years ago, and is dedicated to improving the health of the most vulnerable children of Colombia. 

FOCSA, working with established organisations fulfils its mission by delivering essential medical, educational and other necessary equipment to hospitals and other institutions that have been set up to help those children.

Since its creation, FOCSA has gone from strength  to strength and we are very proud to have donated, in the past 20 years, over £1,000,000 in essential medical equipment to hospitals and health institutions across Colombia in more than 130 separate projects.  All of our activities are run strictly by volunteers therefore, all of your donations reach our aim.

By participating in the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 11th of April 2021, I would like to collect as much funds as I possibly can in order to help one of the various Colombian institutions who already requested our help.

Colombia is in great need as many countries of the world are.  Due to the circumstances, this year when the time stopped!! our help should be, as usual, directed to the medical support to hospitals and institutions in need, we are in need of your support!!

My big Birthday is coming, my only celebration this time while in lockdown is to energetically walk along with you through the Royal Parks of London, I may need your good energy to complete the 14 miles, and some vulnerable children of Colombia and their families, will be very grateful to you.
