We are raising money on behalf of Global One to supply 400 women displaced by the Syrian Conflict with hygiene packs to provide them with a little comfort and dignity in this time of crisis.

The Syrian Conflict has displaced millions of people. Women are often placed into camps without safe and private spaces for sanitation. This means that young girls are very often forced to drop out of any valuable education the camp might offer when menstruating, because there is no safe or hygienic place for them to change. There is a lack of access to underwear for these women and girls, who are often unable to bring personal items with them to the camps, this forces many women to use unsafe materials that can cause infection when menstruating .

GO will provide women with a female hygiene kit. The kit shall include: one menstrual cup/pack of sanitary towels, a bar of soap, liquid soap, shampoo/conditioner, toothbrush/toothpaste, comb, flannel, clothes washing soap and a training guide on menstrual cup use
