Story
On the 13th April 2019 Ian was involved in a
horrific motorbike accident that left him for dead.
Resulting injuries were fractured skull, broken eye socket,
nose and jaw, collar bone, 10 broken/fractured ribs, punctured lung, broken hip
and pelvis, several breaks a fractures to his leg and ankle, ruptured liver,
spleen, kidney and internal bleeding requiring 5 blood transfusions. He was
revived at the scene.
Thanks to the amazing paramedics, HEMS team from Midlands
Air Ambulance and Critical Care team at Stoke on Trent Hospital his life was
saved. That day and his subsequent recovery have changed our lives forever.
Now, nearly 2 years down the line he is well enough to start
giving back, with me by his side. We have set ourselves a challenge, cycle
entire Pennine Bridle Way from village of Ravenstonedale to Middleton Top
visitor center on the High Peak Trail near Wirksworth, camping along the way
for total of 10 days.

We want to raise the money for the Midlands Air Ambulance
Charity that helped to save his life. It costs approximately £2500 for
the team to assist each call out and we would love to raise that amount or
more!
Thank you,
Ian and Nat
